HandsOnSound

We – Jan Paul Herzer and Max Kullmann – initially met in 2006 while attending Sound Studies – the new founded master’s degree studies at University of Arts Berlin. Its interdisciplinary atmosphere of departure and the childlike curiosity about everything that sounds brought us together and finally build the basis for the formation of hands on sound.

Our work is deeply affected by methods of architecture, by technical and artistic fundamentals of audio production, digital signal processing and acoustics. The founders of hands on sound were active in the disciplines architecture, (corporate) communication, event technology, science and art.
